And now may the Spirit of Jesus:
The One who hugged the demoniac,
Touched the leper,
Accepted the worship of a prostitute
And honoured Samaritans -
Infect our thoughts and attitudes
So that the God who is not far from any one of us,
Will touch the lives of others we meet this day,
For the honour of God's name.
